(*WIP*) The Eclipse

Objective 

During a rare eclipse, the Magic Faction prepares for a powerful ritual that will enhance their abilities for the coming season. The player is invited to either protect the ritual or disrupt it, with both choices carrying significant consequences.

Choices and Consequences 

• Protect the Ritual: Successfully defending the ritual increases the Magic Faction’s control over a significant portion of the forest, creating a safer space for the player in future runs. However, it also boosts the faction’s defenses, making any future conflicts with them tougher.
• Disrupt the Ritual: Preventing the ritual weakens the faction’s influence, giving other factions a chance to expand into their territory. This could open more routes and create opportunities to align with other groups.
  

Chain Effect

Protecting the ritual might establish faction-controlled clearings that offer rest and resources while disrupting it could lead to conflicts with wandering faction members seeking vengeance in later runs.
